Viper Drill’s revolutionary EOR technology has received significant recognition and has garnered multiple awards. For example, we won an award for being a Most Promising Company at Rice University’s 2015 Energy & Clean Technology Venture Forum. Held each year in Houston, TX, this event attracts participants from around the globe and is one the largest and most prestigious such event in the world. Click here for more details.

In November, 2015, we were invited to present our company’s technology to the Delta Regional Authority (DRA) at an event held in conjunction with Innov8 Acadiana. After presenting our, the judging panel selected Viper Drill’s EOR as one of three Innov8 2015 Competition Award winners and Viper Drill’s became a member in the (DRAs) fellowship program.

We were asked to present our technology in New Orleans, LA at the 2016 Energy Summit, an event held during New Orleans Entrepreuneur Week (NEOW) in March. The Energy Summit is sponsored by the Southeast Louisiana Energy Initiative in partnership with the Idea Village with panelists include senior members from Conoco-Phillips Technology Ventures, Shell Technology Ventures and Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, US.

Besides the above awards and recognition, Viper Drill’s is proud of the fact that the U.S. Dept of Energy (DOE) under the Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America (RPSEA) selected Viper Drill’s as part of its study into the benefits and impact of the radial drilling. In another first, it was our mechanical radial drilling technology which for the first time in history allowed a sensor (developed by New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology) to survey and confirm that radial drainage tunnels were emplaced and to map the trajectories of those laterals— long unanswered questions with jet-drilling technologies.
